This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and how we protect it. Please read it before using the app.

This app is a mobile environmental noise tool. Results are mainly for personal reference, logging, and sharing—not a substitute for formal reports from certified laboratories.

1. Information we collect

Microphone data: to compute environmental noise, averages, peaks, and related statistics in real time.
Location: to enrich saved measurements or reports with place text or coordinates, when you allow it.
In-app data you generate: timestamps, dB results, time weighting, calibration offset, calibration flag, record titles, and exported files.
Device/system information needed for compatibility and troubleshooting.

2. How we use information

To provide measurement, history, Pro report generation, and CSV/JSON/PDF export/share.
To attach location to records when you consent, for later review and archiving.
To let you adjust time weighting, calibration offset, and appearance.
To diagnose issues and improve stability and compatibility.

3. Storage

Unless stated otherwise, records, settings, and exports are stored primarily on your device. We do not upload your measurement data to our servers by default.

4. Permissions

Microphone: required to capture sound for dB measurement.
Location: optional, for saving where you measured or for report text.
Files/sharing: to export PDF/CSV/JSON via the system share sheet or Files.

5. Third-party services

We may rely on Apple system services such as Location, Share Sheet, and Files. If we add analytics, cloud storage, or support tools later, we will update this policy.

6. Sharing and disclosure

With your clear consent;
To comply with laws, court orders, or regulators;
To protect users, the public, the developer, or third parties;
When you actively export or send data to another app.

7. Children

If you are a minor, use the app with a guardian. We encourage guardians to supervise microphone, location, and sharing use.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect on-device data, but no electronic storage is perfectly secure.

9. Your choices

Disable microphone or location in system Settings;
Delete history inside the app or stop using export features;
Uninstall the app to remove local data (subject to OS backup behavior).

10. Updates

We may update this policy when features, laws, or practices change. Updates will be posted here with a revised date.
